We are friends and ex-colleagues of over 20 years and all Hampshire born and bred!
After working in London and further afield, we now each run our own businesses, by chance all in the creative industry, covering video production, design and marketing.
All based in North East Hampshire. Over the past few months, we have attended several networking events and had an idea to start a free and informal event to build local networks. We then discovered the LinkedIn Local initiative, which fits perfectly with our ethos and thoughts on the foundations which good networking events should be based.
Dan is a Creative Director and set up design agency, Brandtastic, in 2010 after several years working at leading ‘out of town’ agencies in Hampshire and Surrey.
Brandtastic brings brands to life through bold creative work married to strategic thinking. Their in-house offering of Branding, Web Design, Packaging, Animation and Print Design is unique to our region.
Steady growth has produced a client list of over 250 and necessitated a recent move to a beautiful barn in Winchfield in order to accommodate further expansion... and they "just want to be in a barn!"
A lifelong local resident, Dan lives in Crookham Village with wife Anna (Brandtastic Packaging Director), son George and daughter Hattie. Motorbikes, cooking and red wine are just 3 of his many passions!
Kate is the Director of Rocket and Fox Marketing, a Basingstoke marketing agency offering outsourced marketing support to SMEs.
Kate has worked in-house for Guinness World Records, Namco Bandai and Miele amongst others over the past 20 years, and is now offering clients support to build and implement sustainable marketing plans to help grow their businesses.
In her “spare” time, Kate can be found generally ferrying small people about or planning the next holiday, which is normally motivated by proximity to the beach and what food and drink is on offer.
Rob is the Director of ally and mo media, a Fleet-based video content agency specialising in improving business communications between clients and their audiences.
In over 20 years of working in video content production and distribution, he has worked for the likes of Getty Images and ITV before joining Guinness World Records where he spent 15 years, running their international television and video content production business.
Rob saw an opportunity to take this experience and apply to multiple industries and so launched ally and mo media at the end of 2018. He aims to provide the ‘big city’ agency levels of creativity and service his experience has built up, but without the big city agency overheads. In the short time since launch, ally and mo have built up a roster of clients both locally and internationally.
A lifetime resident of Dogmersfield, Rob spends as much time as possible with his wife Sophie and two children Josh and Flossie. Travel, sport (YNWA) and an endless stream of true crime podcasts and TV shows generally fill any spare time Rob has.
